- How to Apply -

Read the rules and information? Interested in applying for a Regali but not entirely sure what to do?

No problem! I've written a little guide for you that makes it as easy as 1-2-3! Well, almost.

Step 1: Seeker Developement
Your Seeker (the character hoping to Bond) is one of the most important factors in obtaining a Regali. He or she must be well-developed with their own personality, habits, history, etc. The more well-thought out a Seeker is, the more I believe how determined, commited, and capable you are.

Race isn't limited to strictly human, but the Seeker must have superior intellect with developed cognitive processes. That means you can't have, say, a pig trying to Bond with a Regali, no matter how clever they apparently are.

Seekers native to Alyrr must be human. World-walking sentient beings interested in being a Seeker are not required to be humanoid, but must be similar (anthropomorphic).

Keep in mind, too, that a Seeker's temperament and personality will reflect that of their Regali. If you create an outgoing Seeker, don't expect to have them bond with a timid Regali. A Seeker is chosen based upon his or her compatability with a particular Regali.

Cross-gender bonding is possible, as well. This means that your female Seeker may bond with a male Regali if they are compatible, and vice versa. If you want only one specific gender for your Regali, please request so in the comments section of the Application Form, though this may lessen your chances depending on the temperaments of Regali available.

Step 2: Building a Page
Once you've got a character planned out, you'll have to share him/her with me. Here's where the creative writing part comes in.

You'll need to construct a web page and use creative writing to tell me all about your Seeker. There are numerous ways to go about doing this, such as journal format/1st person perspective, the Seeker interacting with the viewer, etc. It's all up to you, really. Feel free to get as creative and descriptive as you'd like, but remember that this is your opportunity to reveal how developed your character is.

If you don't have a website, check out FreeWebs.com. If you're worried about not being experienced with HTML, try finding a template (FreeWebs offers several) to use so you don't have to design anything. Otherwise, if you've got a really strong character, it won't matter much.

If you really go above and beyond, I just may have to shower you in cookies.

Step 2.5: The Dream Sequence
This section is only applicable when a release is specifically labeled as such.

When I offer a Dream Sequence, I am offering semi-customs. The process is very similar to that of the standard releases, except you get to pretend that your Seeker has already Bonded with a Regali. You get to develop both characters and include them on your web page, and I'll select the ones that really catch my attention to have their "dream" Regali come true.

Though you will have some free reign over what your Regali looks like, you should focus mainly on their character. If your idea for a Regali is really well-designed, chances are I can match a color scheme to the personality. You may, however, include subtle hints of any colors or markings.

NOTE: Do NOT send in a Dream Application unless I have specifically said they are being accepted! Doing so will disqualify you from that particular release.

Step 3: Applying
Have your character and web page finished? Great! Just double check everything to make sure you didn't miss anything, then you're ready to fill out the form unless you haven't read the rules yet!
